Released by SNK in 1990, the Neo Geo AES brought the MVS arcade experience home with a rare promise: the same games, sprites and visual punch as the arcade cabinets.

Its high price kept it niche, but also made it legendary. For collectors, Neo Geo means arcade luxury: oversized cases, thick manuals, massive cartridges and unmistakable SNK character.

Start with MVS carts or later reissues before chasing the heaviest AES pieces.
Always check region, insert, manual and cartridge condition: completeness changes value dramatically.
SNK fighters are icons, but sports, shooters and action games can be excellent entry points.
