Several video games based on Hirohiko Araki 's manga and anime series JoJo's Bizarre Adventure , which began serialization in the weekly shōnen manga anthology Weekly Shōnen Jump in 1987, have been released. The first video game, which used the series title, was a role-playing video game based on Stardust Crusaders , the third story arc in the series, and was released in March 1993 for the Super Famicom. On December 18, 1998, Capcom released a fighting game in arcades , which was also adapted from Stardust Crusade
