The game was first released for the Sega Saturn in July 1997, and was later ported to the Dreamcast in March 1999. The game was designed to provide equal access to sighted and blind players alike. Its subtitle, Kaze no Regret, roughly translates to "The Wind's Regret" or "The Wind(s) of Regret".
